The 40-foot container will ship from Midwest Mission Distribution Center (MMDC) May 20th. The forty-foot container will be shipped and disbursed through MMDC partner, Northstar Foundation.  It will go in through Poland. The rice meals provide a nutritious meal to help sustain those who are suffering during this time of war and crisis in Ukraine.

“We previously sent 12,000 rice meal bags to Operation Ukraine in Mississippi that got transported in through Poland. More shipments are planned to send emergency blankets and medical supplies. We only send what is requested from trusted partners," said Executive Director Chantel Corrie. Please remember disaster response especially of this magnitude is not a sprint but a marathon. If you assume what others need you can clog the transportation and storage of items that are more important or create a disaster within a disaster. We only work with trusted established partners.“
